Hello fellow foodies. I’m Yang and welcome to PonPeKo! PonPeKo is abbreviated from “Ponpon ga Peko Peko”. Ponpon is the Japanese word for tummy while peko peko means awfully hungry. So, it simply means hungry tummy. Ain’t that cute?
I enjoy eating, experimenting in my kitchen and exploring places for good food. Desserts are definitely my pick me up food. They are bad for my waistline though :(. I have to admit I’m the typical vain girl who loves her skinny jeans, dresses and skirts :P. HOWEVER, my love for food triumphs over my vanity since 9 years ago when my partner, Mr. D introduced me to the wonderful world of culinary. I couldn’t resist the temptations and thus, I have to resort to the ‘eat first, worry later’ motto. Hehe!
I’m really excited and I’m looking forward to share my foodie adventures from my own kitchen to street food stalls to fancy restaurants with YOU! So stay tuned…
